Can you believe that Christmas is just a little over a month away? It’s time to get crafting! There is plenty of time to create some projects to make the holidays FUN. Today, my Creative Team will be sharing some fabulous ideas for creating Christmas Gifts, Countdown/Advent Calendars, and even some December Daily projects. So, let’s get this party started!
For my part of the blog hop… I have designed SEVERAL word art files with the idea of gift giving in mind. These files are PERFECT for cutting out of VINYL and adhering to GLASS, WOOD, or even a TILE to create Christmas gifts. Some are Christmas themed, some are more “home decor” oriented. So, take a look and start thinking about how you could use these files to make some fun gifts.
Here are a few ways you can use this art to create some beautiful homemade gifts…
1.) Etch a saying into a glass. Cut the reverse of the saying in vinyl and stick to a glass plate, baking dish, candle holder, etc. Apply etching liquid (you can buy that at a craft store).
2.) Create a tile with a custom saying. Cut a saying out of vinyl and adhere it to a 12×12 tile and give it with an easle.
3.) Create a set of drink coasters. Adhere different sayings to a set of smaller 4″ tiles. Back with some non-scratch felt pieces. Tie the set together with some ribbon.
4.) Create a wall hanging. Cut and paint a piece of wood the desired size. Cut a saying out of vinyl and adhere it to the front of the wood. Staple ribbon to the back side of the wood.
