Simply cut a little stack of these and stash them in your kitchen. When you feel so inspired… write a little note on one of your handy pre-cut cards and tuck it into your child’s lunchbox. I fondly remember the notes my mother would leave in my lunchbox. Now, my daughter looks forward to these notes, too. Just watch out… you might get nominated “mother of the year”!

Let’s have some fun…..when I get 40 comments on this post, I’ll put up a new FREE cutting file on my next post.

Sweets and Treats

I love what Joy has done with Lori’s “Party Favor Wrapper.”  This is such a cute gift.

Check out her blog for more picture and info. She has a great set of instructions for you on her blog. Thanks Joy!

I also have a beautiful birthday box from Natalie to share. Our design team always does such an amazing job. Natalie has great info on her blog, head on over and check it out.

Thanks ladies, your projects are beautiful!

So Easy

Anyone that knows me, knows that hand making cards is just NOT my thing. They end up as clutter and turn into trash after I spent way too much time on them, so you can imagine my hesitance at making any of Lori’s amazing cards. Don’t get me wrong, they are BEAUTIFUL and inspire me as I upload them into the shop. And this week that desire to play with them over ran my clutter theory, and boy am I glad. These cards were so easy and fast! I think it took more time glueing pieces together than it did cutting everything, and it didn’t take that long to glue them.

I used a few of Lori’s files for these cards as well as her “Note to Self” collection from Echo Park. The “Birthday Button Set” inspired this round of cards. Originally it was just going to be one card, but I had left overs and some other patterns I was dying to try. I also used  “Card Base and Envelope Set 2” for the Birthday card. These are AMAZING. If you have not tried any of them head over to the shop and grab one, or two, or three ;). They cut out so fast and beautiful. For the star card I used Lori’s “Belly Band Cards.” I can’t say enough about how quick and easy these were. I definitely see card making in my future thanks to Lori. Glad she has lots to choose from. There is a bit more info on my blog if you need it… happy card making, Lisa
