Hi everyone! Cathy here with you today, sharing a quick little tutorial on changing up Lori’s Christmas Kisses Gift Cards holder to a Valentine’s Kisses Gift Card holder with the help of one of her new files and a Silhouette Sketch Pen. I used Carta Bella’s new Amour collection to create this fun little gift.
Here is the original file and you can find the link here.
Here you can see how the file looks when you open it in your Silhouette Software….love how Lori color codes all of her files. Makes life so much easier. I cut all of my pieces except the white tabbed piece with the sentiment. The box assembles quickly and easily.
Next I added the white tabbed piece back in and then opened the February 14 file. Here you can see how large the original file was.
You can find the link here for this file.
All you have to do now is size down the February 14 file to fit in the tabbed piece, cut and use your Silhouette Sketch Pens to create a custom box for almost any holiday. Just remember to turn your cut lines on and off for the tabbed pieces when using your sentiment with the sketch pen.
How fun! I added a fun little critter to my gift with Lori’s new Chocolate Mouse file. How cute is he? So easy and you could make a ton of these in now time at all with just a couple sheets of paper.
Adorable!
Thanks so much for joining us today at Lori Whitlock….we can’t wait to see what you create. Make sure to stop by Lori’s shop for tons of new Valentine ideas and files.
