Happy Presidents Day. I am home playing with my kids today and hope you are doing something fun also. Today we have 2 projects to share with you. First is Mendi, she says…

“Today I thought I would give Lori’s awesome Life Card cutting files a try. I don’t actually keep a Project Life album, but I just knew these fabulous little cards would also work well for a traditional grid style layout as well. I decided it would be fun to cut them out with a white tone-on-tone approach, almost making them appear as if they were embossed. I have to say I love the results! I especially love how it adds a lot of texture and detail without overwhelming my layout visually. Swing by my blog today for more detailed shots and design dilemmas I overcame for my layout”.
I’m bad about keeping cards on hand. I usually make them and then use them, so when an event comes up I have to prepare for the event AND make a card. I’m trying to get ahead so I stop driving myself crazy. LOL! I used these two thank you card files by Lori : “Thank You Card” and “Thank You So Much Card“. They’re so easy to make! Did you see that washi tape? I’m in love with it. It’s from Lori’s newest Echo Park paper line release: All About a Boy and Sweet Girl. All the paper I’m using comes from those lines too. I used the 6×6 paper pads and shrank my cards down so I could have a few smaller ones on hand. Whew! Three thank you cards down…now to make a few birthday ones, hello ones, get well ones, Easter ones…

Today we have our digital girls sharing their talents. First Lisa Barrie has created this beautiful layout…

Happy Valentines Day! or SAD (Single Awareness Day) as my teenagers would say. We hope no matter your situation you have a fabulous day! As always we are sharing some amazing projects. First up is the talented Corri, she says…
Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope you all have a great day with the ones you love.
I have one last Valentine’s Day project to show you and I have to say I’m a little sad….I’ve had so much fun creating with the Love Story Collection from Echo Park, designed by Lori Whitlock.
For today’s project, I made a simple card using two hearts from Lori’s 11 hearts set.
I created the scallop mat by welding a border strip to a rectangle. I cut this adorable tall heart gable box to match. This box is super simple to make….it cuts out has one piece. I added some chipboard embellishments from the Love Story collection.
Amanda has created this beautiful Valentines Day Box…

I used the Love Story papers and SVG Files used are:That means from now until midnight (Pacific time) you can pick up a couple of digital kits for a steal…

This layout template is perfect for a quick page to add to your project life pages or into your digital scrapbook (hint hint It is also available in Lori’s shop as an SVG file, which means if you don’t do digital but own a digital die cutting machine you can still use this file. Just cute out the shapes in your favorite papers and assemble.)

While you are at jessicasprague.com getting your kits, be sure to check out the samples made with each of these kits in the “more images” tab at the bottom of each listing.
